Adding the start_primavera.bat to the Windows Task Scheduler

To add the start_primavera.bat file to the Windows Task Scheduler:

  1. Browse to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Task Scheduler.
  2. Under Actions, select Create Task.
  3. Under the Create Task, General tab:
    1. Provide a name for the Scheduled Task.
    2. Provide a description of the Scheduled Task
    3. Select Change User or Group.
    4. Under Security Options in the Enter the object name to select field, enter System and click OK.
    5. Select Run with the highest privileges.
  4. Under the Create Task, Trigger tab:
    1. Select New.
    2. In the Begin the task list, select At Startup.
    3. Under Advanced Settings, select Enabled.
    4. Select OK.
  5. Under the Create Task, Actions tab:
    1. In the Action list, select Start a program.
    2. In the program/script field, browse to the start_primavera.bat file.
    3. Select OK.
  6. View the scheduled task by selecting Task Scheduler Library.
