Assigning P6 Roles to Projects in Primavera Cloud

To assign roles from P6 EPPM at the project level in a Primavera Cloud workspace:

  1. Sign in to Primavera Cloud as a global administrator or an application administrator.
  2. In the object selector, select a workspace, and then select View All Projects....
  3. In the top section of the Projects for <workspace> page, select a project row.
  4. Add an activity to your project as follows:
    1. In the sidebar, select the Schedule app, and then select Activities.
    2. Select + Add.
    3. In the Name field, enter a name for the activity.
    4. In the ID field, double-click and enter an ID for the activity.
    5. Select Save.
  5. Assign a resource for each activity as follows:
    1. Select an activity and then select the Resource Assignments tab for that activity.
    2. Select Assign....
    3. In the Filter By field select Workspace to see a list of Resource codes and Resource IDs that are now available in your workspace from running the master data synchronization.
    4. Select a resource from the list and then select Assign.
  6. Assign a role for the resource as follows:
    1. In the Resource Assignments tab for that activity, double-click Role Name and then select the Picker button.
    2. In the Filter By field select Workspace to see a list of roles that are now available in your workspace from running the master data synchronization.
    3. Select a role from the list and then select Assign.
  7. Select Save.

    P6 EPPM roles are now assigned to resources at the project level in Primavera Cloud.
