To assign roles from P6 EPPM at the project level in a Primavera Cloud workspace:
- Sign in to Primavera Cloud as a global administrator or an application administrator.
- In the object selector, select a workspace, and then select View All Projects....
- In the top section of the Projects for <workspace> page, select a project row.
- Add an activity to your project as follows:
- In the sidebar, select the Schedule app, and then select Activities.
- Select + Add.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the activity.
- In the ID field, double-click and enter an ID for the activity.
- Select Save.
- Assign a resource for each activity as follows:
- Select an activity and then select the Resource Assignments tab for that activity.
- Select Assign....
- In the Filter By field select Workspace to see a list of Resource codes and Resource IDs that are now available in your workspace from running the master data synchronization.
- Select a resource from the list and then select Assign.
- Assign a role for the resource as follows:
- In the Resource Assignments tab for that activity, double-click Role Name and then select the Picker button.
- In the Filter By field select Workspace to see a list of roles that are now available in your workspace from running the master data synchronization.
- Select a role from the list and then select Assign.
- Select Save.
P6 EPPM roles are now assigned to resources at the project level in Primavera Cloud.
