Adding Synchronizations

Each synchronization transfers data using a business flow. If you want to run a synchronization using a new business flow, you will need to add a synchronization.

To add a synchronization in Gateway:

  1. In the sidebar, select Synchronizations.
  2. In the Synchronizations page, select Add....
  3. In the Flow and Deployments step of the Synchronization wizard, enter the following information:
    1. In the Synchronization Name field, enter a name for the synchronization.
    2. From the Business Flow list, select the business flows that is to be used by the synchronization.
    3. From the Source list, select the source application to send the data.
    4. From the Destination list, select the destination application to receive the data.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

  4. In the Parameters step, enter values for each parameter as needed.
  5. In the Summary step, review a summary of all the selections made in the previous steps.

    Select any of the following actions:

    • Select Back to navigate to a specific step and make changes.
    • Select Save to add the synchronization.

    The synchronization is now available for running on the Synchronizations page. For more details, see Transferring Data between Applications.
