You have created two new synchronizations, Sync 1 and Sync 2, with corresponding business flows, and you want to move the new synchronizations to a test environment or a production environment for a customer. You may also want to check what objects, fields, cross references, field mapping templates, flow definitions, metadata, value mappings, provider, and business flow will be used by each synchronization, before actually running the synchronization in Primavera Gateway. In each scenario, use Export by Synchronization to extract Primavera Gateway configuration data associated with specific synchronizations
To export data files associated with synchronizations:
- Sign in to Primavera Gateway as an administrator or developer.
- In the sidebar, select Configuration.
- Select the Import/Export tab.
- In the Export Configuration Data section, select By Synchronization.
- Use the Ctrl or Shift keys and select Sync 1 and Sync 2 from the Synchronization list.
- By default all the data files are selected for export from the Data list. So, use the Ctrl or Shift keys to deselect any of the following configuration data files:
- Business Flow / Synchronization
- Cross Reference
- Event Provider
- Field Mapping Template
- Flow Definition
- File Converters, only if the File provider is installed
- Metadata
- Provider
- Value Mapping
- Select Export to generate a zip file.
- Select Save to save the generated Synchronizations_V194_04272019.zip file.
Note: The export file, Synchronizations_V194_04272019.zip contains two zip files, associated with each synchronization: Sync_1_V194_04272019.zip and Sync_2_V194_04272019.zip.
