The Scorecard module includes a variety of features that enable you to gain instant and easy access to all the tactical and operational information regarding your investments.
In the Scorecard, portfolios appear in table format, providing an instant overall view of the performance of items. The Scorecard is also a point of entry to in-depth information offering navigation to other parts of the application, such as workbooks or dashboards.
The Scorecard includes the following components and features:
- Title Area: Enables you to select the scorecard, portfolio, and version to be viewed.
- Menu Bar: Provides scorecard menus, including menu item commands to create, modify, export, or duplicate scorecards, to upload a document, and to determine the type of cell highlight. The menu bar also provides the standard Collaborate, View, User, Setup, and Help menus.
- Scorecard: Enables you perform actions on the selected scorecard. It contains the following options:
- Edit...: Enables you to edit the current scorecard using the Scorecard wizard.
- New...: Enables you to create a new scorecard using the Scorecard wizard.
- Duplicate...: Enables you to create a duplicate of the current scorecard. You can rename the duplicate scorecard and modify the scorecard as needed using the Scorecard wizard.
- Add Categories...: Enables you to add categories to the current scorecard from the Categories tab of the Scorecard wizard.
- Multiple Column Sort...: Enables you to set the priority of the sort order across columns in the current scorecard in the Multiple Column Sort dialog box..
- Knowledge: Enables you to access a knowledge base article if available on Oracle Support.
- Custom Export...: Enables you to set up a custom export criteria for the current scorecard.
- Export: Enables you to define export settings and the export format of the current scorecard in the Export Settings dialog box.
- Print...: Enables you to print the current scorecard.
- Log Out: Enables you to log out of Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Portfolio:
- Edit...: Enables you to edit the selected portfolio in the current scorecard using the Portfolio wizard.
- New Item...: Enables you to add a new item and associate it with a portfolio using the Item wizard.
- New Portfolio of Items...: Enables you to create a new portfolio of items and associate it with a home portfolio using the Portfolio wizard.
- New Portfolio of Portfolios...: Enables you to create a portfolio of portfolios using the Portfolio wizard.
- Upload Document...: Enables you to upload a document securely from the Upload Document dialog box.
- Documents...: Enables you to upload multiple documents and replace existing documents if needed using the Documents dialog box.
- Send to Manager...: Enables you to send an email regarding the current scorecard.

- Send Page...: Enables you to email the scorecard to recipients.
- Obtain Page Address...: Displays the URL of the scorecard.
- New Alert: Enables you to set up an alert with specific criteria.
- Alerts...: Displays the Alert pane in the Setup window.
- Add Process Link...: Enables you to save links associated with a scorecard.
- Start Workflow...:Enables you to start a workflow for a scorecard.
- Workflow Instances...: Enables you to set up workflow instances for a scorecard
- View: Enables you to view scorecards with the following options:
- Unhide All Categories: Displays alll categories associated with the current scorecard.
- Show Sub Items: Displays sub-items associated with the current scorecard.
- High Contrast Mode (for graphs only): Displays the scorecard in a high contrast mode to improve readability and legibility of on-screen text.
- Show/Hide Guide pane: Displays or hides the Guide pane for the scorecard.
- User: Enables you to set your preferences and settings. It contains the following options:
- My Updates...: Displays a list of items that you need update.
- My Requests...: Displays a list of items that you requested.
- Change Password...: Enables you to change your password forPrimavera Portfolio Management.
- Preferences...: Enables you to define your preferences to various modules within Primavera Portfolio Management in the Preferences tab of the User wizard.
- Contact Information...: Enables you to add or update your contact information in the Contact tab of the User wizard.
- Restore Optional Messages...: Displays a message that allows you either display or hide all optional messages. Select OK to restore all optional messages.
- Withdraw Consent: Select OK to withdraw your consent for using or accessing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Setup: Enables you to setup and organize portfolios, items, categories, and dashboards. It contains the following options:
- Items...: Enables you to setup Items in the Setup Module.
- Portfolios...: Enables you to setup Portfolios in the Setup Module.
- Scorecards...: Enables you to setup Scorecards in the Setup Module.
- Categories...: Enables you to setup Categories in the Setup Module.
- Dashboards...: Enables you to setup Dashboards in the Setup Module.
- Setup...: Displays the Setup module of Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Help: Enables you to access Online Help and the OPPM documentation library. It contains the following options:
- Help: Enables you to access the Online help of Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Library: Enables you to access the documentation library of Primavera Portfolio Management.
- About Primavera Portfolio Management: Displays the About page of Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Privacy Policy...: Displays the Privacy Policy of Primavera Portfolio Management
- Cookie Policy...: Displays the Cookie policy that you have given consent to for using Primavera Portfolio Management.
- Toolbar: Contains the following buttons:
- The Print button enables you to print the current scorecard.
- The Mail button opens the Send Mail dialog box that enables you to e-mail a link to the current scorecard.
- The Knowledge button enables you to access the scorecard knowledge information.
- The Filters button enables you to create dynamic or predefined filters. Choose the following options to work with filters:
- Edit...: Enables you to edit the filter values. You must have the appropriate security privileges to perform this task.
- New...: Enables you to create a new filter for a scorecard. You must have the appropriate security privileges to perform this task.
- Save as...: Enables you to save a copy of the filter and rename the filter.
- Clear: Enables you to clear all values in the selected filter.
- Items /Portfolios Column: The first column lists the items or portfolios included in the selected portfolio. The name of the selected portfolio is shown in the first cell of the summary row.
When a portfolio of portfolios is selected, the column is titled Portfolios, and the included portfolios are listed. When a portfolio of items is selected, the column is titled Items, and the included items are listed. By default, items and portfolios are sorted alphabetically and numbered.
- Category Columns All other columns of the scorecard are categories, showing data for the listed portfolios or items. Each scorecard may be composed of different categories. Typical categories include:
- Health: an indicator of general performance.
- Business Initiative: the type of business for the item.
- Life Cycle: the phases that comprise the item's life cycle.
- Budget: actual or projected funding for an item.
Note: Place your mouse over each item in the list to view its name and description. Each row of the Scorecard is numbered with a descriptive icon next to the name.

- Summary Row: Provides the summary of values in the category columns. Users can define the specific summary for each category (average, total, or another complex function).
- Scorecard Cell: The convergence point of each row and column in the scorecard is a cell that displays a value for a specific item, in a specific category. The Scorecard enables you to define properties at the cell level, and to drill down to dashboards for specific cells.
- Indicators: Color and shape-coded symbols are used for an instant overview. For example,
indicates that performance criteria are being met;
indicates that a performance problem may be arising; and
indicates that performance criteria are not being met.
- Values: Display the category value for the defined date for each item or portfolio, as applicable.
