A dashboard contains one or more tabs. Dashboards and Forms share the tab library. You can customize a dashboard by selecting any combination of tabs. Each tab can appear in one or more dashboards or forms.
Every tab has a unique name and a customizable label. The label is shown in the dashboard as the tab's title. By default, the tab's label is the same as its name. If you want the tab's shown title to be different from its name, enter a label for it. Labels are often used when the tab name is too long to display. Labels do not have to be unique.
To add tabs to the dashboard:
- On the Tabs tab of the Dashboard wizard, select Add to add tabs from the tab library, or select New to create a new tab and add it to the dashboard.
In the Add tabs to dashboard dialog box, you can select multiple tabs by holding down the Shift or Ctrl keys as you select tabs.
For more information on creating tabs, see Creating a Tab.
To adjust a tab on the tab list, select it and then select Edit.
To remove a tab from the tab list, select it and then select Remove.
- Click Next to proceed to the next tab of the wizard, or click Finish to save the dashboard and exit the wizard.
