The following types of data-entry fields can exist in a Propose form:
- Text/Numeric: In this type of field you may enter either specified text or numeric values.
- Dropdown list: Opens a set of predefined choices. Select a value from the dropdown list.
- Text Area/Annotation: The text area and annotation fields are for free-text entry. A scroll bar lets you view all of the characters in the fields. You can cut and paste characters into the text area/annotation field as long as you remain within the limit of 35,000 characters.
- Date Box: Enter a date into the field or select a date from the date box.
- Indicator: An indicator field is one in which the drop-down list is of colors indicating the condition of the entry. Select an Indicator from a drop-down list.
To enter data in a data-entry field:
- If more than one tab is defined in the form, click the name of the tab you want to display.
- Click the cell and enter the appropriate text or numeric value into the data entry field, or select a value from the drop-down list or date box.
