Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting Pack is a separately licensed product.
This release is for VPAT Verification on OFSDGUSRR User Interface.
Description
ID 32738496 - OFSDGUS 8.1.0.0.1: DG COMPATIBILITY FOR VPAT FIXES
Pre-installation Requirements
The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack v8.1.0.0.0 and OFS AAI v8.1.1.0.0.
Installing this Release
To install the release, follow these steps:
1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 32738496 under the Patches & Updates tab.
2. Download the 32738496_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.
3. Shut down all the OFSAAI services.

4. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:
unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>
For example: unzip -a 32738496_GENERIC.zip
Note: The "-a" option is
mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice the error message: “unzip: not found [No such file or directory” before the package
is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.
5. Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

chmod -R 755 OFS_DM
· chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig
6. In the installer kit path /appsLibConfig/conf:
a. Update the params.conf file with the upload model parameter as 0.
7. Navigate to the following directory:
<>/OFS_DM/bin
8. Execute the install command:
./setup.sh SILENT
9. Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:
<>/OFS_DM/logs
10. After successful installation, follow these steps:
a.
Clear the application cache. Navigate to the
following directories depending on the configured web application server and
delete the following files:
i. Tomcat: <Tomcat installation location>/work/Catalina/localhost/<Application Name>/org/apache/jsp
ii. WebLogic: <WebLogic installation location>/domains/<Domain name>/servers/<Server name>/tmp/_WL_user/<Application name>/<auto generated folder>/jsp_servlet
11. Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.
12. Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application on your configured web application server.

13. After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI services.

Post-installation Steps
After the OFS AAI 8.1.1.0.0 is installed, login to Config Schema and execute the following script:
UPDATE
AAI_APP_PACK_AUDIT_TRAIL SET
v_app_pack_id='OFS_RRRS_PACK' WHERE
v_app_id='OFS_DGS' AND
v_app_pack_id='OFS_DG_PACK';
COMMIT;
