Pre-installation Requirements

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack v8.1.0.0.0.

Installing this Release

To install the release, follow these steps:

1.        Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 33929097 under the Patches & Updates Tab.

2.       Download the 33929097_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA Server in Binary Mode.

3.       Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

For more information, see the Stopping Infrastructure Services Section in Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting Installation and Configuration Guide.

4.      Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

Unzip <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip 33929097_GENERIC.zip

5.       Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

·         chmod -R 755 OFS_DGS

·         chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig

6.      In the Installer Kit Path /appsLibConfig/conf:

a.       Update the params.conf file with the Upload Model Parameter as 0.

7.       Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/bin

8.      Execute the install command:

./setup.sh SILENT

9.      Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/logs

10.   After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI Services.

11.     If you are deploying DGS 8.1 on an instance where you are running OFS AAI v8.1.2 and OFSDF v8.1.2, then follow these steps:

a.       Navigate to the path <Deployed Location>/metadataReport.

b.      Open the MDRTempDefn.jsp file in an editor.

c.       Find src="../libs/js/libs/require/require.js" and replace it with src="../oj_libs_9/js/libs/require/require.js" and save the file.

d.      Execute the following commands in the Atomic Schema.

CREATE OR REPLACE SYNONYM AAI_WF_PROCESS_B FOR ##CONF_USER##.AAI_WF_PROCESS_B;

CREATE OR REPLACE SYNONYM AAI_WF_PROCESS_TL FOR ##CONF_USER##.AAI_WF_PROCESS_TL;

CREATE OR REPLACE SYNONYM AAI_WF_ACTIVITY_B FOR ##CONF_USER##.AAI_WF_ACTIVITY_B;

CREATE OR REPLACE SYNONYM AAI_WF_ACTIVITY_SUBPROCESS FOR ##CONF_USER##.AAI_WF_ACTIVITY_SUBPROCESS;

NOTE: Before executing above commands, replace ##CONF_USER## with Config Schema name and then execute above commands.
