Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting Pack is a separately licensed product.

This One-off Patch is released for Data Governance Qualification on US Fed Regulatory Reporting Release v8.1.1.1.5.

Pre-installation Requirements

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack v8.1.0.2.0 and US Fed Regulatory Reporting Release v8.1.1.1.5.

Installing this Release

To install the release, follow these steps:

1.        Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 33568105 under the Patches & Updates Tab.

2.       Download the 33568105_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA Server in Binary Mode.

3.       Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

4.      Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

Unzip <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip 33568105_GENERIC.zip

5.       Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

·       chmod -R 755 OFS_DGS

·       chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig

6.      In the Installer Kit Path /appsLibConfig/conf:

a.       Update the params.conf file with the Upload Model Parameter as 0.

7.       Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/bin

8.      Execute the install command:

./setup.sh SILENT

9.      Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/logs

10.   After successful installation, follow these steps:

a.       Clear the Application Cache. Navigate to the following directories depending on the configured Web Application Server and delete the following files:

                                                                         i.            Tomcat: <Tomcat installation location>/work/Catalina/localhost/<Application Name>/org/apache/jsp

                                                                       ii.            WebLogic: <WebLogic installation location>/domains/<Domain name>/servers/<Server name>/tmp/_WL_user/<Application name>/<auto generated folder>/jsp_servlet

11.     Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.

12.    Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application on your configured Web Application Server.

13.    After the successful installation of the release, restart all OFSAAI Services.

14.    Copy the files from Kit Path to the Deployed Path as mentioned in the Release v8.1.0.2.0, For more information, see Step 18 from the Installing this Release section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting Installation Guide Release 8.1.0.2.0.

NOTE: This step is required only if the Threshold Amount column is not visible in the Key Indicator Assessment Configuration Screen.

Post-installation Steps

The post-installation steps required for this release are as follows:

1.        Execute the MERGE_FCT_KRI_DEF batch.

For more details, see the Merging Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.1.0.2.0.

2.       Execute the FCT_KRI_DEF_UPDATE batch.

For more details, see the Updating Measures for Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.1.0.2.0.

3.       Execute the DGS_KI_MDRM_UPDATE batch.

This batch is used to convert work cells to normal cells. Enter the current system date as the MISDATE for this batch.

4.      Execute the KI_CONFIGURATION batch.
