OIPA Upgrade Utility
This document includes the instructions for using the upgrade utility, which is available for the users upgrading from 9.7.1.0 to 11.3.1.0. The Upgrade Utility provides an automated method for updating the database schema and XML syntax to address backward compatibility issues.
To upgrade the database to OIPA v11.3.2.x version; follow the below steps:
For customers whose current version < v11.3.1.0

Run the Upgrade Utility tool available in the distribution to upgrade from the current version to v11.3.1.0.

Note: Make sure the current and latest system version in the AsSystemVersion table is previously inserted/supported entry from Upgrade Utility. Example : 11.3.0.1, 11.2.0.0 etc.

Generate migrate SQL using the MergeSQL tool and execute the scripts on the respective database.
This will upgrade the system from 11.3.1.0 to the latest hotfix version (11.3.2.x) available.
For customers upgrading from v11.3.1.x to latest hotfix version (11.3.2.x)
