OIPA Database Installation Instructions This guide includes the instructions to help you with the database installation. The topics include creating users, granting privileges and configuring the database. Supported database types are: Oracle 19c (64bit), DB2 - 11.1 Fix Pack 3 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition (AESE), SQL Server 2017 on Windows Server 2016 x86_64 (Windows Server 2012 R2 x86_64). Rules Palette Environment Creation Instructions This guide includes the instructions to help the Rules Palette user with downloading the Rules Palette application and creating an environment. This process should follow the setup of the Rules Palette. This guide is for the Rules Palette user.
OIPA Upgrade Utility This document includes the instructions for using the upgrade utility, which is available for the users upgrading from 9.7.1.0 to 11.3.1.0. The Upgrade Utility provides an automated method for updating the database schema and XML syntax to address backward compatibility issues. To upgrade the database to OIPA v11.3.2.x version; follow the below steps: For customers whose current version < v11.3.1.0 Run the Upgrade Utility tool available in the distribution to upgrade from the current version to v11.3.1.0. Note: Make sure the current and latest system version in the AsSystemVersion table is previously inserted/supported entry from Upgrade Utility. Example : 11.3.0.1, 11.2.0.0 etc. Generate migrate SQL using the MergeSQL tool and execute the scripts on the respective database. This will upgrade the system from 11.3.1.0 to the latest hotfix version (11.3.2.x) available. For customers upgrading from v11.3.1.x to latest hotfix version (11.3.2.x) Generate migrate SQL using the MergeSQL tool and execute the scripts on the database. This will upgrade the system from 11.3.1.x to the latest hotfix version. This is a command line tool that helps in the selection of the current version and target version to generate the required scripts that can be executed manually on the database. Please follow the instructions provided in the document Migration_Tool_Instruction_Document.pdf available under the distribution.
OIPA Detached Migration Deployment This guide includes the instructions to perform a detached migration when migration needs to be done between two databases that do not share the same IVS.
