Reset Vendor User Profile Password
Purpose: Use the Reset Vendor User Profile Password window to change a vendor user’s current password to a new, temporary password.
The next time the vendor user logs into the Vendor Portal, he or she will need to enter this password, and then set up a different password.
How to display this window: Select Reset Password at the Vendor User Profiles screen.
Password requirements: The new password:
• must be changed at least every 90 days
• must be from 8 to 25 characters long
• cannot contain any spaces
• must include at least 1 numeric character
• must include at least 1 letter
• must include at least 1 special character
• cannot be the same as the vendor user ID
• cannot be the same as the 4 previous passwords for the vendor user
The password is case-sensitive (A is not the same as a).
You can reset the vendor user’s password regardless of whether the vendor user has been anonymized.
Completing this window: Enter the new, temporary password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, then select Save.
