Purpose: Use the Edit Web Service User window to change a user and password identifying a system for web service authentication.
How to display this window: Click the edit icon () at the Web Service User screen.
Note: Only users with Web Service Authorization authority can display this screen. See the Role Wizard for more information.
Updating a web service user identifying a system for web service authentication
• Optionally, change the Password. The Password must:
• Be 6 positions or longer
• Not be the same as the User
• Start with a letter
• Include at least one number
• Include a special (non-alphanumeric) character, but not a colon (:) or a single quote (‘).
Note:
• The password can include spaces.
• Web service authentication of the password is case-sensitive.
• Click Save to save your changes; otherwise, click Cancel.
