Understanding PeopleCode APIs for Excel

PeopleCode APIs for Excel is a framework solution for easier interaction with Excel files or spreadsheets within PeopleCode. This feature provides the user the ability to interact with Excel spreadsheets by using PeopleCode APIs. These PeopleCode APIs work across multiple platforms which include Windows, UNIX and Linux.

This feature allows the user to:

• Develop PeopleCode functionality to interactively generate Excel reports in real-time.

• Read or write data from PIA to Excel documents and vice versa.

• Output Excel data on a pre-defined template.
