Unifier Essentials 24.2
Change Order Business Process
Custom Print Template for Change Order BP
A custom print template is added to the Change Order business process. When line items have been consolidated to a Change Order from the Change Request or Potential Change Order BPs, a block will appear on the Change Order with Sources print template showing the source records for the consolidation in addition to line item summary information.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. No additional changes are required.
Integration Fields
New Back-End Fields
Three new fields are added to most business processes to facilitate integrations. These fields are hidden on the forms for end-users, but may be populated by Web Services, spreadsheet upload or bulk edit by an Administrator.
- Integration Status (ue_gen_IntgStatusSPD
- Integration Update Date (ue_gen_IntgUpdateDP)
- Integration Message (ue_gen_IntgMsgTB4000)
These fields were previously added to the Estimate, Initial Budget, and Vendor BPs.
The integration fields are now added to the following BPs: Action Item, Actual, Actuals Importer, Architect's Supplemental Instructions, Budget Change, Budget Transfer, Change Directive, Change Order, Change Request, Communication, Contract, Daily Report, Document Approval, Estimate, Field Observation, Forecast, Fund Appropriation, Incident Management, Initial Budget, Invoice, Issue, Journal Entry, Lessons Learned, Master Service Agreement, Meeting Minutes, Miscellaneous Cost, Notice to Proceed, Owner Walk Through, Payment Application, Permit, PO Amendment, Potential Change Order, Project Closeout Checklist, Project Note, Project Request, Project Status, Project Timesheet, Punch List Item, Purchase Order, Request for Information, Risk, Role, Submittal, Submittal Package, Timesheet, Vendor, Warranty, and Work Release.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. Additional columns will be added to CSV and Excel import templates. Existing import templates will need to be adjusted to add the new columns.
Site Photo
Geolocation for Site Photo Custom Prints
A Geolocation block is added to the bottom of the Site Photo custom print. Latitude and longitude metadata may be captured when photos are attached to Site Photo records in the Unifier mobile application. If geolocation data is present, the new block will appear on the Site Photo custom print.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. No additional changes are required.
Business Process Log and Find Fields
New Fields for Project Level BPs
Project Number, Project Name, Creator, and Creation Date are now available fields for all Project level BP log views and search options. In some cases these fields were previously available; they are now available in all BPs.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. The fields will appear in the Search window by default. They will not appear in BP logs automatically if they were not there previously, but will be available for users to add to updated views.
Mobile
Support for Selecting Multiple Images
When adding images to Unifier Attachments or Comments, multiple images can now be selected from the Gallery/File app. This feature was already present on iOS; with this enhancement Android users have similar functionality.
Before adding images to records, uses can remove or rename files as needed. Uploading files cannot proceed if there are multiple files with identical names.
Default File Names for Camera Uploads
When uploading images, audio, or video files using iOS or Android, default file names will be used unless the user optionally specifies custom names. Default file names begin with the file type (Img, Audio, or Vid), followed by an underscore and the date & time. For example, the default file name for a video might be Vid_20231017110523AM – representing October 17, 2023 at 11:05:23am.
Date and time preferences as selected on the Unifier web app govern the formatting of date and time elements.
Additional Enhancements
Integration Fields
The newly added integration fields are set to reset on the Create step form for all BPs to ensure they are not populated from a source BP on auto-creation. In some cases, the Create step form was used for additional steps later in the workflow. For those BPs a new action form was added to avoid resetting the integration fields later in the workflow.
Impacted BPs are: Architect's Supplemental Instructions, Budget Change, Budget Transfer, Change Directive, Change Order, Change Request, Contract, Daily Report, Document Approval, Field Observation, Fund Appropriation, Incident Management, Initial Budget, Invoice, Issue, Journal Entry, Meeting Minutes, Notice to Proceed, Owner Walkthrough, PO Amendment, Payment Application, Permit, Potential Change Order, Project Request, Project Status, Project Timesheet, Purchase Order, Timesheet, Work Release
Where Create step form was renamed, the data model for the "BP Documentation" custom report is updated.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. No additional changes are required by the customer.
Update Cash Flow and Cash Flow Rollup Reports
The Update Cash Flow and Cash Flow Rollup reports now show unassigned amounts in red, like the quarterly report.
This enhancement is included in the Configuration Package. No additional changes are required by the customer.
Permissions for Company Administrators
Company Administrators now have permission to access all System Information features in the Company Workspace admin mode navigator.
This enhancement is not included in the Configuration Package. Customers may update the Access Control for Company Level functionality as desired.
Project Status BP
In the Project Status business process, linked elements Schedule Start Date (ue_prj_ProjStartDateDP) and Schedule Finish Date (ue_prj_ProjFinishDateDP) to the BP forms, log, find, integration, external data model and custom print.
This enhancement is not included in the Configuration Package. Customers may update the Access Control for Company Level functionality as desired.
