Introduction

This document describes how to use the web services (SOAP and REST) for integration and passing data, codes used in web services, and the return values.

The interface to integrate Unifier and an external system is based on Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer (REST).

Note: Oracle develops all of the new web services as RESTful web services and not SOAP web services. Oracle recommends that the new integrations use RESTful web services.

The following services are included in the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) file, but these services are reserved for internal use only (not for customer use):

Within our documentation, some content might be specific for cloud deployments while other content is relevant for on-premises deployments. Any content that applies to only one of these deployments is labeled accordingly.
