Creating a Submittal Revision Sequencer
You can either manually create the A-Z and the 001-999 revision sequencers or import the data using a CSV file. If you are using the Import option, ensure that the file you create matches the data documented in steps 4 to 9.
To manually create the A-Z revision sequencer:
- Navigate to the All Projects tab in User mode.
- Expand the Project Master Data node and select Submittal Revision Sequencer. The Submittal Revision Sequencer log opens.
From the BP log page, click Create. A new Submittal Revision Sequencer form opens.
- In the Title field, enter A - Z.
- In the Status drop-down menu, select Active.
- Click Grid.
- In the Rev# field, enter the alphabets from A to Z.
- In the Sequence# field, enter numbers from 1 to 26.
- In the Short Description field, enter numbers from 001 to. 026. This is a required field.
- Click Save to save the Item log.
- To save the record, click either:
- Finish Editing to save the form in read-only mode. You can return the record to edit mode by clicking Edit on the record toolbar.
- Save to leave the form in edit mode.
To manually create the 001-999 revision sequencer:
- Navigate to the All Projects tab in User mode.
- Expand the Project Master Data node and select Submittal Revision Sequencer. The Submittal Revision Sequencer log opens.
- In the toolbar click New. A new Submittal Revision Sequencer form opens.
- In the Title field, enter 001-999.
- In the Status drop-down menu, select Active.
- Click Grid.
- In the Rev# field, enter the numbers from 001 to 999.
- In the Sequence# field, enter numbers from 1 to 999.
- In the Short Description field, enter numbers from 001 to. 999. This is a required field.
- Click Save to save Item log.
- To save the record, click either:
- Finish Editing to save the form in read-only mode. You can return the record to edit mode by clicking Edit on the record toolbar.
- Save to leave the form in edit mode.
