Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router, Core Routing VII – Per Server | The following features are added with this sub-product:
IETF RFC 7944 Diameter Routing Message Priority Overview of Diameter Routing Message Priority (DRMP) Mechanism to allow Diameter endpoints to indicate the relative priority of Diameter transactions. Message priority is be used in routing, resource allocation and overload abatement decision. Use cases:
Ability to assign message priorities based on DRMP AVP received in diameter messages as well as static message priorities configured using Message Priority Configuration Set (MPCS). Message priorities are used for message throttling decisions during congestion conditions. Enable and disable DRMP AVP based message priority assignment for configurable diameter app-ID. Ability to assign priorities to answer messages equal to that of request messages. Support Answer message back from different connections (21072456) Allows DSR to process the Ingress Answer Diameter message received from connection of the upstream Diameter Peer, which is different from the connection, which was used to send the egress Diameter request for a given Diameter Transaction. Route Group Measurements (19091550) New measurements to monitor the amount of traffic being routed through specific route group. Provides visibility of traffic distribution across different route groups Configuration to enable and disable route group measurements for individual route groups through SOAM GUI Support up to maximum of 250 Route Groups per DSR network element Two new
measurement groups are added to support route group measurements:
