Use the Job Status dialog box to view the status of all ASAP jobs submitted in P6 EPPM. The list of jobs includes those currently pending, those currently running, those delegated for which the summarize service is running and waiting for child records to complete summarizing, those that were canceled, those that completed with errors, and those that have completed or failed that exist in the database. Jobs that complete or fail continue to display until they are removed from the database based on the ASAP Cleanup Rate setting as defined by the P6 Administration Application. The list does not include recurring jobs as defined on the Scheduled Services page in P6. Use P6 to view detailed log files.
Display bar: Displays a menu for viewing a print preview of the dialog box, for displaying the Table Font and Row dialog box, or for filtering the list of jobs to show all jobs or just your jobs.
Job Name: Lists the internal job name stored in the job table.
Job Type: Lists the type of job that was run as a service. When sorted, values are sorted ascending alphabetically, then by submitted date.
Job Status: Lists the status of the associated job. When sorted, values are listed in the following order: Pending, Running, Complete, Failed, Canceled, Delegated, Completed with Errors. Within each job status group, jobs are additionally sorted by submitted date.
Submitted By: Lists the user login name of the user who submitted the job.
Submitted: Lists the date the job was submitted.
Message: Lists the error message if a job failed.
Refresh: Refreshes the list of jobs.
Delete: Deletes the selected job if the status is Pending, Completed, or Failed. Only enabled for the user who submitted the job.
View Log: Launches a web browser to view detailed log files.
Note: You must be able to log into P6 to view log files.
