- Select a WBS element associated with the work product or document.
- Display WBS details, then click the WPs & Docs tab.
To display the WPs & Docs tab, right-click in the Details area and choose Customize WBS Details. In the Available Tabs section, select WPs & Docs, click 
, then click OK.
- Select the work product or document and click Details.
- Click Launch next to the appropriate Location field.
Note
- Only P6 Professional users can open private location documents. Public location documents can be viewed by all project participants.
- If the selected work product or document has been added via a P6 installation with a configured content repository, the detail fields are read-only and the document cannot be opened from P6 Professional.
