Before creating a new business flow, assess what components are currently supported within Gateway for a data transfer:
- Check if the required objects and fields for a data transfer are already supported in the following data dictionaries:
- Primavera Cloud
- P6
- Gateway
For more details, see Viewing Dictionary Objects and Fields.
If all objects and fields are supported, proceed to the next step.
If any objects or fields are not supported, then those will need to be added in the data dictionaries.
Tip: Make a note of the objects and fields that will need to be added or modified. You will use this list when Creating a Business Flow.
- Check if you need to create a new field mapping template for the business flow.
For each business object that will be included in the business flow, check if current field mapping templates can be used if they already support the objects and fields for a data transfer. For more details, see Viewing Field Mapping Templates.
If all objects and fields are supported in the current field mapping templates, you can begin building a business flow.
If objects and fields are not supported, then those will need to be added in a new field mapping template.
