Adding a Master Data Business Flow to Send Data from CSV File to Unifier: Example

This example demonstrates how to add a master data business flow to send a csv-formatted data from File to Unifier. The business flow will use a field mapping template created for the Role object.

Prerequisites

You have:

Procedure:

  1. In the sidebar, select Flow Type and then select Master Data.
  2. Select Add....
  3. In the General step of the Business Flow wizard:
    1. Select File from the Source list.
    2. Select Unifier from the Destination list.
    3. Enter the Business Flow Name, File to Unifier - CSV Format - Role Data Business Flow.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

  4. In the Mappings step:
    1. Select the Gateway Object Name, Role .
    2. Select the Field Mapping Name, Field Mapping Template for Role template.
  5. In the Source App Parameters step:
    1. For the File Name parameter, select the Attribute, Optional.

      Note: When the File Name parameter is set as Required or Optional, only Admin and User roles can enter the file name during synchronization.

    2. Select the CSV Parser, Role Parser.
  6. In the Destination App Parameters step, select Next.
  7. In the Summary step, review your selections and select Save.

    The File to Unifier - CSV Format - Role Data Business Flow is now available to run synchronizations between File and Unifier providers.
