Copying a Unifier Deployment for the Production Environment: Example

To replicate a Unifier deployment in one or more environments, use the current Unifier provider deployment to copy and connect to a different Unifier environment as follows:

1. In the sidebar, select Configuration.
2. Select the Deployments tab.
3. Select Unifier Provider, and then select theActions menu and select Copy.

   A deployment with the name, Unifier Deployment Copy, is created.

4. In the General step:
   1. Rename Unifier Deployment Copy as Unifier Deployment Production.
   2. Edit the description for Unifier Deployment Production in the Description field.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

5. In the Deployment step:
   1. (Optional) Rename the Short Name of the deployment as UN-Prod.
   2. Enter the Authentication Code for the UN-Prod.
   3. Enter the Endpoint URL to point to the Unifier production environment in the format: http://<host name>:<port>
   4. Select Test Connection to ensure connectivity with the Unifier production environment is established.
6. Select Save to add the deployment.
