Copying a Business Flow: Example

This example demonstrates how to copy and edit the Send Primavera Cloud project data to P6 business flow:

  1. In th sidebar, select Flow Type and then select Project Data.
  2. Select the row listing the Send Primavera Cloud project data to P6 business flow.
  3. Select theActions menu and then select Copy.

    The Send Primavera Cloud project data to P6 Copy business flow is created.

  4. In the General step:
    1. Rename the Business Flow Name as Send Primavera Cloud project data to File.
    2. Update the Description of the business flow as Send Primavera Cloud project data to File.
    3. Change the Destination as File.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

  5. In the Mappings step, select the following Gateway objects supported by the business flow:
    • Activity
    • Project
    • WBS
  6. In the Source App Parameters step, use the default settings and attribute of the Primavera Cloud Project Filter parameter.
  7. In the Destination App Parameters step, change or retain the following attributes:
    • For the File Name parameter, set the Attribute as Required.
    • For the CSV File Generator, retain its default Attribute setting.
    • For the Email Notification parameter, set the Attribute as Required.
    • Select the Synchronize one project at a time parameter and retain its default Attribute setting.
  8. In the Summary step, review a summary of all the selections made in the previous steps:
    1. Expand each step title to review the selections made in that step.
    2. Select any of the following actions:
      • Select Back to navigate to a specific step and make changes.
      • Select Save to make this business flow available in the Business Flows tab of the Project Data page.
