This example demonstrates how to copy a synchronization.
Prerequisites
The following deployments are set up in Gateway:
- P6 Deployment - Testing
- P6 Deployment - Production
- Unifier Deployment
- A Send Unifier Roles to P6 project data synchronization exists to transfer data between Unifier and P6 Deployment - Testing environments. You want to copy this synchronization and use it for Unifier and P6 Deployment - Production environments.
Procedure
To copy and edit the Send Unifier Roles to P6 synchronization:
- In the sidebar, select Synchronizations.
- In the Synchronization Name column, select Send Unifier Roles to P6,
- Select theActions menu, and then select Copy.
In the Synchronization wizard, Send Unifier Roles to P6 Copy is created.
- In the Flow & Deployments step:
- Rename the synchronization.
- Select P6 Deployment - Production from the Destination list.
- Select Next.
Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.
- In the Parameters step, select Next.
- In the Summary step, review all the selections made in the previous steps:
- Expand each step title to review the selections made in that step.
- Select any of the following actions:
- Select Back to navigate to a specific step and make changes.
- Select Save to add the synchronization.
The synchronization is now set up to run between Unifier and P6 Deployment - Production.
