Copying a Synchronization: Example

This example demonstrates how to copy a synchronization.

Prerequisites

The following deployments are set up in Gateway:

Procedure

To copy and edit the Send Unifier Roles to P6 synchronization:

  1. In the sidebar, select Synchronizations.
  2. In the Synchronization Name column, select Send Unifier Roles to P6,
  3. Select theActions menu, and then select Copy.

    In the Synchronization wizard, Send Unifier Roles to P6 Copy is created.

  4. In the Flow & Deployments step:
    1. Rename the synchronization.
    2. Select P6 Deployment - Production from the Destination list.
    3. Select Next.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

  5. In the Parameters step, select Next.
  6. In the Summary step, review all the selections made in the previous steps:
    1. Expand each step title to review the selections made in that step.
    2. Select any of the following actions:
      • Select Back to navigate to a specific step and make changes.
      • Select Save to add the synchronization.

    The synchronization is now set up to run between Unifier and P6 Deployment - Production.
