Importing Configuration Data Files by Synchronization: Example

Two new synchronizations Sync 1, and Sync 2 with corresponding business flows were created in a test environment, and an export file, Synchronizations_V194_04272019.zip has been previously generated. Now, you want to import the new synchronizations to a test environment or a production environment for a customer.

To import the configuration data files of each synchronization:

  1. Unzip Synchronizations_V194_04272019.zip to contain two zip files: Sync1_V194_04272019.zip and Sync2_V194_04272019.zip.
  2. Sign in to Gateway as an administrator or developer.
  3. In the sidebar, select Configuration.
  4. Select the Import/Export tab.
  5. Import each sync zip as follows:
    1. In the Select File field, select the Picker button and browse to the sync zip file.
    2. Select Import.

A success message displays for each zip file.

      • Notes:
      • After importing the metadata back (metadata.xml) into Gateway, you can send and receive data only after re-entering the deployment's password manually.
