Adding an Application Deployment Connection

To move data between applications, you must first add application deployment connections so Primavera Gateway knows where to get and send information.

To add an application deployment connection:

  1. In the sidebar, select Configuration.
  2. Select the Deployments tab.
  3. Select Add....
  4. In the General step of the Deployment wizard name the deployment:
    1. From the Select Application Provider list, select a provider deployment you want to add.
    2. In the Deployment Name field, enter a distinct name for the deployment. For example, Unifier 20 Production to associate a deployment with a production database of Version 20.
    3. In the Description field, enter a description for the deployment being added.

      Note: Select Next on each screen to advance to the next step.

  5. In the Deployment step, set the database connection information to connect to the source or destination application.
  6. (Optional) in the Event Provider step, associate an event listener with a provider if you want to run synchronizations based on the occurrence of specific events.
    1. In the JMS Connection Factory field, the location of the event listener XML file.
    2. In the JMS Queue field, enter the name of the event listener XML file.

      Note: Event listeners are available for the Sample provider and P6 provider only.

  7. Select Test Connection to ensure connectivity with the source or destination application.
  8. Select Save to add the deployment.
