Installing Primavera Data Warehouse Software

Complete the following steps to install Primavera Data Warehouse.

To install Primavera Data Warehouse:

  1. Download and extract the contents of PrimaveraDataWarehouse.zip.
  2. In the extracted contents, navigate to the star/config folder.

    cd <PDW>/star/config

  3. Change the permissions to run the configuration scripts:

    chmod775*

  4. Launch the script with the path to the environments jre within the used JDK.

    ./dwInstaller.sh <java_home>/jre

    or

    dwinstaller.cmd <java_home>/jre

  5. In the Primavera Analytics dialog box:
    1. In the JRE Location field, specify the JDK with the JRE.
    2. Click the Install button to complete the installation.

      A success message is displayed when installation is complete.

  6. Click Exit to finish the installation.
  7. Proceed to run the configuration utility.
