Parent Child Relationships
RateManager folders, programs, and categories use a parent child hierarchical data model. This is where the top level of data is designated as the parent and any level that falls beneath is the child. The top most level is designated as the root. Children on the same level are siblings. A parent child hierarchical data model allows multiple parents to have multiple children all from one root.
The parent child hierarchical data model creates a tree like structure is similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer. This multilevel setup is where you can place an unlimited number of products, folders and programs underneath a project.
