Overview of Application Accessibility
The application is designed with accessibility features that support assistive technologies, such as screen readers. You can use the General Preferences: Accessibility page in the Set Preferences work area to set the accessibility modes of the application.

Accessibility in OIPA
OIPA is designed and developed with the JET UI standards meeting the accessibility guidelines. This document outlines a detailed information on how to navigate through various UI components and controls of OIPA using the keyboard and operate the application easily with and without using the assistive technology tools such as JAWS Screen Reader.

Pre-Requisites

For Keyboard only navigation and operation no other tools are required.

For JAWS Screen Reader should be up and running before you logon to OIPA to assist you navigate and operate the application using the Screen readers.

OIPA supports browsers like firefox and chrome, for better usability we recommend using chrome browser for OIPA application.
This section lists the navigation when the accessing the application using Keyboard or the JAWS Screen Reader ON.
The users with vision challenges can easily operate OIPA with the help of using assistive technology tools such as JAWS Screen Reader.
The JAWS Screen Reader reads the contents of the screen (flow and behaviour of the application) as you navigate through the OIPA screens using the keyboard keys such as Tab, Escape, Arrow and Functional keys, and other key on the keyboard.
