This image shows the Action Link Properties dialog. Here you set the properties of a new action link. The dialog contains the following fields:

• Link Text — Use this field to enter the text to display as the link to execute the associated action.

• Caption — Use this field to enter a caption to display above the link text. This field is available only for actions links that are not displayed on an action link menu.

• Action — Displays the action to be associated with the action link.

The dialog also features a toolbar with the following buttons:

• New Action — Use this button to select the type of action to create and display the New Action dialog, where you create an inline action.

• Select Action — Use this button to display the Select Existing Action dialog, where you select a named action.

• Edit Parameter Mapping — Use this button to display the Edit Parameter Mapping dialog, where you edit the action parameters. This button is available only for named actions that have parameters that are not fixed or hidden.

• More (>>) — Displays options for the currently selected action, including Edit Action, Remove Action and Save Action As.
