address or hostname.
Caution:
When changing the server’s network routing configuration, it is important to verify the modifications do not impact the method of connectivity for the current login session. It is also crucial this information not be entered incorrectly or set to improper values. Incorrectly modifying the server’s routing configuration may result in total loss of remote network access. - Severity:

The default router at <IP_address> cannot be pinged
, the router may be down or unreachable. Do the following:- Verify the network cables are firmly attached to the server and the network switch, router, hub, etc.
- Verify the configured router is functioning properly. Check with the network administrator to verify the router is powered on and routing traffic as required.
- Check with the router administrator to verify the router is configured to reply to pings on that interface.
- Rerun syscheck.
- If the alarm has not cleared, it is recommended to collect the syscheck output and contact My Oracle Support.
