New Features in this Release

The following new features are incorporated in this release. For detailed information about using these features, see the OFS Price Creation and Discovery User Guide 8.0.7.5.1.

� Three additional Amortization options are added. They are Balloon Amortization, Interest-Only Amortization, and Ad Hoc Cash Flow Amortization for the Loans and Mortgage Products.

� The following new Accrual Types are added to OFS PCD on top of Actual/360:

� 30/360

� Actual/365

� Business/252

� 30/365

� Actual/Actual

� 30/Actual

� For the Card and CASA Products, the following enhancements are introduced:

� Cards: The Product Life Time Field is made editable and non-mandatory.

� CASA: The Maturity Tenure field is made non-mandatory.

� For the CASA Products, the Payment Frequency Field is made non-mandatory.�

� A new Attribute is introduced to the FTP Product Dimension, which allows the user to map Standard Process at Product-level.

� For the Existing Customer for Repricing, the following fields are made editable in the UI:

� Maturity Date

� Interest Rate/Spread

� Floating Rate Benchmark

� Payment Frequency

Prerequisites

The prerequisites required for this release are:

1. Oracle Financial Services Price Creation and Discovery Application Pack 8.0.7.0.0

2. Oracle Financial Services Price Creation and Discovery Maintenance Release 8.0.7.5.0

3. Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure (OFS AAI) 8.0.7.5.0

Installing this One-off Release

To install this one-off release, follow these steps:

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for Patch ID 33568781 under the Patches and Updates Tab.

2. Download the 33568781_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary Mode.

3. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be unzipped>

For example: unzip -a 33568781_GENERIC.zip

This command will create a directory named OFS_PM.

NOTE: The above "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.

If you notice an error message �unzip: not found [No such file or directory]� before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator to resolve this issue.

4. Shut down the OFSAAI Services.
For more information, see the Stopping Infrastructure Services Section in the OFS Price Creation and Discovery Applications Pack Installation and Configuration Guide Release 8.0.7.0.0.

5. Navigate to the <HOME_DIRECTORY>/OFS_PM/conf directory and configure the parameter UPLOAD_MODEL to 0 in the params.conf file.

6. Provide RWX (755) permission to the shell script /OFS_PM/bin/install.sh.

7. Execute ./install.sh.

8. Check the log file OFS_PM_patch_installation.log present under the /OFS_PM/logs directory, to see if the patch is applied successfully.

9. In the Command prompt, navigate to the $FIC_WEB_HOME directory of the WEB tier and type . /ant.sh. This will trigger the creation of an EAR or WAR file.

The EAR or WAR file (<contextname>.ear or <contextname>.war) is created in the $FIC_WEB_HOME directory of the WEB tier.

After the EAR or WAR file is created, the message "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" will be displayed.

10. Stop the webserver.

11. Deploy this EAR or WAR file (<contextname>.war or <contextname>.ear) in the Web Server.

12. Take a backup of the EAR or WAR files deployed.

13. Clear the Web Server Cache.

14. Restart the OFSAAI Services.
