Shell set up involves setting up permissions at several points during configuring and creating shells, so the users can have access to various aspects of working with the shell.

Shell administration and set up involves the following steps:

Note: The following presumes that the shell types have been designed and imported to the Company Workspace.

  1. Setting permissions for configuring the shells, in the Shell Manager.
  2. Configuring the shells, in the Shell Manager.
  3. Setting permissions for administering the shell templates that can be used to create new shells.
  4. Creating shell templates.
  5. Setting permissions for adding, or modifying, shells.
  6. Creating new shells for use.
