Delete Data Views

To delete Data Views

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, click Data Structure Setup > Data Views.

    The User-Defined Data Views log opens.

  3. Select a view.
  4. In the toolbar, click Delete.

    You will receive a confirmation message that you want to delete the selected Data View.

    Notes:

    • You cannot delete Published Data Views. You must change the Status to Draft to be able to delete a Data View.
    • Although deletion of a data view in Draft status is possible, if a Data View has been used in a UDR, Custom BI Publisher/Oracle Analytics Publisher report, or Data Cube that was included in a configuration package, the configuration package creation will fail because of the missing data views.
