Configure P6 EPPM Web Services to Use Username Token with Encryption and Digital Signatures
- Complete the steps outlined in Generating a Java Keystore and Public/Private Key Pair
- Launch the Primavera P6 Administrator and log in.
- In the Primavera P6 Administrator, click the Configurations tab, and expand Custom/Web Services/Security/Authentication.
- In the Username Token Profile folder:
- Change the mode to Username Token Profile.
- Expand Username Token Profile/Nonce, and set Require Nonce to true.
- In the Created folder, set Require Created to true.
- In the Security folder, expand Message Protection:
- Set Require Timestamp to true.
- Set Require Digital Signatures for Incoming Messages to true.
- Set Require Encryption for Incoming Messages to true.
- In File Location, enter the full path to your Java keystore.
- In KeyStore Password, enter a password.
- In Private Key Alias, enter an alias.
- In Private Key Password, enter a password.
Note: If you did not enter a different key password when you generated the keystore, this will be the same password as the keystore password.
- Set Encrypt Response to true.
- Click Save Changes.
- Restart the application.
