About Project Performance Metrics

An array of performance metrics can be employed to measure project success against time, cost, and other standards. Baselines are also often used to measure how a project is progressing.

Project performance ratings are determined based on thresholds set for each of three metrics: schedule, earned value, and index. Project health is calculated based on these schedule performance thresholds.
