Accessibility Tagging Font Wizard

The Studio Conversion Wizard has a new option to set accessibility tag entries by font usage. This is a convenient way to jumpstart assigning ADA tags in existing sections.

Starting Conversion Manager Wizard, choose the Change Multiple Sections option.

Once sections have been selected, on the page where Change Font ID occurs, the new Font Usage Accessibility Tagging section has been added.

Selecting conversion options

Use the “plus” icon to add search information. This involves choosing a font to locate and the ADA tag that you want associated with that usage.

Selecting font and tag

Fill the grid with font and ADA tags. Choose the font ID you want to locate and the ADA tag option to associate with the object using that font ID. Use the Add Row and Delete Row buttons to change the number of entries in your grid.

You can use the IMPORT button to import a semicolon delimited plain text file with multiple pairings. If you import a file, make sure the rows are defined as shown below, with the font ID on the left and the ADA tag enumeration on the right. The values are separated by semicolons.

  • ;6010;16
  • ;6110;43;

The search includes text labels, fields and text areas within the previously chosen sections

Although tag names are shown for selection where entered, the enumerated value is shown in the list for association. Current tag enumeration values supported are as follows:

ADA Tage Name Enumeration

Heading 14
Heading 1 15
Heading 2 16
Heading 3 17
Heading 4 18
Heading 5 19
