Transaction Effective Date for New Transactions

This addition to the Documaker Interactive (DI) interface will allow the user to select a transaction date other than the current date when creating a new WIP transaction. Specifying the date can be important if there are different versions of document components effective for different dates.

For instance, suppose you are creating a transaction that is supposed to represent the document starting at the first of the next year. Specifying that transaction date in the Effective Date field will ensure that the presentation of available forms from the library are filtered for that effective date.

If the user does not specify differently, the current date is assigned as the transaction effective date. This is the behavior that was previously in place.
