Validating URI Template

After you build the URI Template and save the Application Service, the Validate link is available. Use the Validate link on the URI Template page to verify the URL with base template parameters.

To validate the URI:

  1. Click the Validate link on the URI Template page.

    The URI Template Builder page is displayed.

  2. Enter a value for each base template parameter.

  3. Click Generate URL.

    This example illustrates the fields and controls on the URI Template Builder page.

  4. You can copy the generated URL to view the entire URL with the base template parameters.

    .../music.v1/band/oboe/1,2

  5. Close the URI Template Builder window.
