Table 5-50 Feature Admin State Elements

Element Description Data Input Notes
Feature Name The name of the VSTP Feature.

MMI clients never define vSTP feature names, but instead discover the available names from the collection GET response. A client must then use the vSTP provided feature name string when making a GET or PUT request for a particular Feature.

Feature Status A vSTP Feature's administrative state can either be Enabled or Disabled.
Note: The administrative state of a vSTP feature can either be Enabled or Disabled as follows:
  • The vSTP feature TBGTTLS is initially in the Disabled administrative state when the system is installed and it cannot be disabled once enabled.
  • The vSTP feature WGTTLS is initially in the Disabled administrative state when the system is installed and can be enabled and disabled any number of times. Enabling and disabling the WGTTLS feature requires restart of the MPs.

A vSTP feature remains in the Disabled administrative state after system installation.
