Authentication and Session Management
When you use P6 EPPM Web Services, you must authenticate your credentials with the server. The server can be configured to authenticate user credentials with one of the following methods:
- Authentication using Username Token Profile
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 1.1 or 2.0
- Authentication using HTTP Cookies (on-premises only)
- Authentication using Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM)
Note: You use the P6 Administration Application to change the authentication method on the server via the P6 EPPM Web Services/Security/Authentication/Mode setting.
