Mapping Roles to Groups in Oracle Analytics Publisher

Create groups in Oracle Analytics Publisher to contain the user accounts that will have access to reports.

To create groups in Oracle Analytics Publisher for P6 EPPM:

  1. Log in to Oracle Enterprise Manager as an administrative user.
  2. On the WebLogic Domain menu, select Security, Application Roles.
  3. On the Application Stripe list, select obi.
  4. In the Role Name field, selects Starts With and type BI into the field, then click Search application roles.
  5. In the Role table, select BIServiceAdministrators and click Edit.
  6. In the Edit Application Role screen, select click Add.
  7. In the Add Principal screen:
    1. On the Type list, select Group.
    2. In the Display Name field, select Starts With and type BI into the field, then click Search roles.
    3. In the Searched Principals table, select BIServiceAdministrators.
    4. Click OK.
  8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 to map the BIConsumers role to the BIConsumers group.
  9. Repeat steps 5 to 7 to map the BIContentAuthors role to the BIContentAuthors group.
