Check a schedule
- Open the projects you want to check.
- Choose Tools, Check Schedule Report....
- If multiple projects are open, select the project whose check schedule parameters you want to use.
- Select the checks to run.
Optionally adjust the target and any durations for the selected checks. - Specify a location and file name for the report.
Optionally select to overwrite the existing file if a file with the name you specify already exists in the location. If you choose not to overwrite the existing file, the report name will be appended with a time stamp if an existing file is found with the same name. - Click Check Schedule.
Notes
- You can filter the view to the activities that fail specific tests in the check schedule report either by using the Check Schedule toolbar, or selecting View, Check Schedule and then selecting the check to view. The Check Schedule Thresholds option allows you to modify the thresholds for Long Lags, Large Float, and Large Durations.
- The report also provides the following information:
- The ID, name, data date, total number of activities, number of completed activities, number of internal relationships, and number of external relationships for each of the projects checked.
- The ID, name, data date, and number of links to and from other linked projects that were closed when the report was run.
- The project ID, activity ID, and activity name for any activities missing from the assigned baseline of the checked projects.
- The predecessor project ID, predecessor activity ID, predecessor activity name, relationship type, lag duration, successor project ID, successor activity ID, and successor activity name for any links to projects that were closed when the report was run.
