Enable and Disable Schedule Sheet Linking

Before you can link project/shell schedule sheets to a template for updating, you must enable the template for linking.

To enable linking for a schedule sheet template:

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab and switch to Admin mode.
  2. Click Templates in the left Navigator.
  3. For a shell template, In the left Navigator, select Templates, select Shells, select the [shell type], and open the [shell template].
  4. In the left Navigator, select Schedule Manager, and then select Schedule Sheets.
  5. On the Schedule Sheets log, select a Schedule Sheet template.
  6. From the Edit menu, select Sheet Linking, and then select Enable.

To disable linking for a schedule sheet template:

  1. On the Schedule Sheets log, select a Schedule Sheet template.
  2. From the Edit menu, select Sheet Linking, and then select Disable.

Disabling Sheet Linking disconnects all project/shell schedule sheets from the linked template; the schedule sheets can no longer receive updates from the template.
