Creating Multiple Attributes Forms

The following explains how to create multiple attributes forms in the Document Manager node.

The Document Manager node contains the following sub-nodes:

Note: You must open the existing Attribute form to view the nodes.

The following explains each sub-node in detail.

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select uDesigner, and then select Document Manager.
  3. Open the Folder and Document Attributes.

Document Properties

To access Document Properties:

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select uDesigner, and then select Document Manager.
  3. Open the Folder and Document Attributes.
  4. In the left Navigator, select Document Properties.

After the folder properties attributes form is created, the corresponding document properties attribute form will be created. For example, if the user has "test dms - Folder properties" form in Folder Properties, the user will see "test dms - Document properties" in the Document Properties log. After the folder properties attributes form is created (by way of copying the corresponding document properties), the attribute form will be created. For example, if "Copy From test dms - Folder Properties" was created (by way of copying the corresponding document properties), the user will see "Copy From test dms - Document properties" in the Document Properties log.

The existing validations for DMS attribute forms in Document Properties will take place across all the multiple attribute forms.

  2. In the left Navigator, select uDesigner, and then select Document Manager.

After the folder properties attributes form is created via copy, the corresponding document log will be created. For example: If "Copy From test dms - Folder Properties" was created (by way of copying the corresponding document properties), the user will see "Copy From test dms - Log" in the Document Properties log.

The existing validations for log will take place across all the multiple logs.
