Adding a Status

To add a status:

  1. Go to the Company Workspace tab, and switch to Admin mode.
  2. In the left Navigator, select Data Structure Setup, and then select Statuses.
  3. Under Statuses, choose:
    • Record Statuses to add statuses for records
    • Line Item Statuses to add statuses for line items
    • Asset Statuses to add statuses for assets
  4. Double-click the status list in the log. The Status Definition window opens.
  5. Select the Data Set tab, and at the bottom of the window, select Add.

    uDesigner adds a row with a text box in the Value field.

  6. In the Value field, enter a name for the new status.

    Use only alphanumeric and underscore (_) characters for the name; 20 characters maximum.

  7. To add another record status, select Add.
  8. When you are finished, select OK.
