Manual Activity Sheet (Supported Schedule Types)

Manual Activity Sheets support the following schedule methods (types), which provides flexibility when you are integrating project schedule data with Cash Flow and Cost Management processes.

Duration-Based Schedules

You can import duration data from Primavera P6 by using the XML Import option.
Project Schedulers and Project Managers can manually define Duration-Based Schedules within the Activity Sheet.
You can use the sheets as a source for Cash Flow. The Schedule Type property in the sheet is used by Cash Flow to determine whether the Activity Sheet is Duration-Based or Resource-Loaded.
Duration-Based Manual Activity Sheets do not support cost-related functionality, such as assigning rate sheets or performing recosting.
Duration-Based Manual Activity Sheets are not available for Earned Value Analysis (EVA).

Resource-Loaded Schedules

You can import resource-assignment data from Primavera P6 by using the XML Import option.
To support cost calculations for P6 resource-loaded projects, the Resource-Loaded Manual Activity Sheets use rates from the Master Rate Sheet.
Using the Assignments tab, you can assign Resources and Roles to activities. Costs are then calculated based on the defined resource or role rates in the assigned rate sheet.
When the Schedule Type property is set to Resource, Cash Flow can consume both:
- Schedule data
- Cost Distribution from the Manual Activity Sheet
