To select a life cycle for an item:
- On the Life Cycle tab of the New Item Wizard, from the Life Cycle drop-down list, select the life cycle that you want to apply to the new item.
When you choose a life cycle, its phases are shown in the Phases area. If the chosen life cycle has a description, it is shown in the Description area.
If you want to create a new life cycle, select <New Life Cycle>. For more information on using the Life Cycle Wizard, refer to Adding Life Cycle Phases.
- Select Next to proceed to the next tab of the wizard, or select Finish to save the item and exit the wizard.
