Setting Up Your Procurement Operations Using PeopleSoft Fluid Pages

These are the steps to setup Procurement Operations Home Page:

  1. Use the Define Procurement Controls page to define Reporting Entities that will group your procurement spend activity based on the selected business units. Identify calendar to represent your reporting periods and a reporting currency code you want to view amounts in. Data is staged only for stated business units for this Report Entity. See Configuring Procurement Analysis Inquiries

  2. Execute Update Spend History batch process to stage procurement data for this Report Entity. Assign the time periods that data needs to be staged for. See Generating Spend History

  3. Use the Set up Procurement Users page to assign users to a Reporting Entity and also specify the periods for which data should be displayed. Current period data are displayed in case no data is specified. See Configuring Procurement Analysis Inquiries

  4. Use the Supplier Watch List Event age to select the events you want to monitor in the Supplier Watch List. See Configuring Thresholds and Events for Procurement Operations

  5. Use the Define Event Threshold page to define system level thresholds. A violation will appear for each Tile Event Name on the Supplier Watch List when the transaction amount calculated or number of days pending exceeds the threshold established for the reporting entity. See Configuring Thresholds and Events for Procurement Operations

  6. My Preferences helps user to setup, which events to display in Supplier Watch List and also setup any warning days or amounts on top of admin setup.
